SHDT hosts an Annual Craft and Vendor Fair to show the work of talented Seniors. Each year, the show is one of our most popular events showcasing these wonderful artists and helping fund more wishes in coming months.

HUG A SENIOR DAY!
SHDT began Hug a Senior Day May 27th, in 2009, it was declared a CT State holiday by Governor Rell.
Let us know if your school would like to participate next year! We also love having Senior Volunteers for this event. Volunteer to get hugged!

Leveille was an airline stewardess, when they were still called that, prior to the jet era working on board Douglas DC-3 aircraft. Lois wanted to fly again. We helped make that dream a reality. Lois is one of dozens of Seniors with Dreams we want to see come true.
